Xian Deng

Xian Deng is currently an Executive Director in Equity Research for European Pharmaceuticals at UBS, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, Xian served as a Vice President in Equity Research at Berenberg from 2018 to 2022. Before their finance career, Xian worked as a Research Scientist at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, where they conducted high-level research and published significant findings. Xian earned a PhD in Biology from the University of Cambridge and has a Master's Degree in Chemical Biology from the University of Oxford, complementing their strong educational background in biochemistry and biological sciences.
