Yao Chong

Yao Chong is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in healthcare investment banking. Currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of Asia Healthcare Investment Banking at UBS since January 2010, Yao has progressed through various roles within the Global Healthcare Group, including Executive Director, Director, Associate Director, and Analyst. Prior to UBS, Yao worked as a Corporate Finance Analyst at the Royal Bank of Scotland and gained analytical expertise at Dresdner Kleinwort in both corporate finance and strategic advisory roles. Yao began a career in healthcare investment banking as a Summer Analyst at Dresdner Kleinwort. Yao holds a BSc (Hons.) in Actuarial Science from The London School of Economics and Political Science and completed A Level studies at Sunway College.
