Youri Boom

Youri Boom is an experienced professional in risk management, currently serving as a Country Risk Manager at UBS since November 2017, focusing on country risk limit management. Prior experience includes roles as an Economic Capital Analyst at ABN AMRO Bank from February 2005 to June 2008, where responsibilities encompassed economic capital analysis, stress testing framework implementation, and risk appetite framework development. From July 2008 to June 2013, Youri held multiple positions at RBS, including Country Risk Manager and Risk Appetite Manager, overseeing country assessments and establishing risk appetites for various financial products. Youri holds an MSc in Financial Engineering and Management from the University of Twente, earned between 2000 and 2005.
