Yu Kawane is a finance professional with over ten years of diversified international experience, specializing in fixed income and derivatives. They served as a Sustainable Funding Manager at Japan Tobacco International, where they built strong relationships with stakeholders and developed long-term funding strategies focused on ESG trends. Prior to that, Yu held roles at Daiwa Capital Markets, where they achieved significant milestones such as becoming the first retail division employee promoted to the New York branch and managing relationships with Japan’s largest investors. Currently, they are a Director in Fixed Income Sales at UBS, covering financial institutions.
