UBUCHANGE is a refugee-led social enterprise founded in 2023 and registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee in Uganda in 2025. We create sustainable livelihood opportunities for refugees and host communities through entrepreneurship, innovation, skills development, agribusiness, and market access.

Our flagship initiatives include the Creative Women Salespreneur Program, UBUCHANGE Business Academy (UBA), and UBUCHANGE Market, which equip entrepreneurs with practical skills, mentorship, and access to local and international markets.

Vision

To become the leading refugee-led organization in the world that creates sustainable livelihoods through entrepreneurship, innovation, and market access while conserving the planet.

Our dream is to see refugees and host communities become confident entrepreneurs, business owners, and leaders who create jobs and improve their communities.

Mission

To empower refugees and vulnerable communities with practical skills, business opportunities, mentorship, and market access that help them become self-reliant and economically resilient.

We are proud to collaborate with AMAHORO Coalition, YARID Uganda, Everyplace, and UNHCR Innovation Services, and we welcome partnerships with organizations that share our vision of creating sustainable livelihoods for displaced communities.
