Abdullah Mansour is a graduate student instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, teaching computer programming and biomechanics classes with over 400 and 40+ students, respectively. As a graduate researcher at the Mofrad Lab within UC Berkeley's College of Engineering, Abdullah is investigating the influence of binding spot distribution on cargo molecules concerning their navigation through the Nuclear Pore Complex (NPC). Abdullah has a background in machine learning as a machine learning engineer at Del Nava, developing models to classify heart conditions from heart sounds. Abdullah has also contributed as a volunteer trainer at Kaiser Permanente, training volunteers in various skills. Previous experience includes undergraduate research focused on human arterial blood flow modeling and microfluidics diagnostics, alongside teaching roles at both UC Berkeley and De Anza College. Abdullah is pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley, following a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering.
