Alonso Martinez

Alonso Martinez is a graduate student at the University of California, Berkeley in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences department, under the advisement of Alyosha Efros. Prior to this position, Alonso held significant roles in prominent technology and animation companies, including serving as a Senior UX Designer at Google DeepMind, the Synthetic Characters Lead at Google, and a Technical Director at Pixar Animation Studios. Additionally, Alonso is the founder of a robotics startup. Alonso obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Computer Animation from Ringling College of Art and Design, graduating in 2008.
