Anthony Merrill

Anthony Merrill is an experienced fundraising professional with a focus on major and principal gifts at the University of California, Berkeley. In the current role as Assistant Director, Major and Principal Gifts, Anthony leads donor identification, strategy, and management for fundraising teams specializing in data science and visual arts. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Prospect Analyst at the Cal Alumni Association, Development Coordinator in fundraising efforts, and Development Assistant at the Lawrence Hall of Science. Additional roles encompass internships at the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles Conservancy, and The Strategy Group. Anthony holds a Bachelor's Degree in History of Art, History of the Built Environment from the University of California, Berkeley, alongside an Associate's Degree in Humanities from Pasadena City College.
