Ashley August

Ashley August is an experienced educator and design professional with a current role as a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, teaching undergraduate courses in the Fundamentals of Architectural Design since August 2022. In addition to this position, Ashley serves as the Director at Nanka and has experience as a Part-Time Instructor at the Academy of Art University. Previous roles include Design Discovery Virtual Instructor at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Designer with The Los Angeles Design Group, and various teaching and design positions at Harvard University, as-is.us, Atelier Bow-Wow, and MIT. Ashley holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, a Bachelor's of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute.
