Bill Remak currently serves as the Senior Advisor for Patient Advocacy & Coalitions at the Healthspan Action Coalition and is the Founder and Senior Advisor for GIANT - Global Immunization Action Network Team. With extensive experience in public health and patient advocacy, Bill is also an Internship Preceptor at the University of San Francisco and a member of the University of California, Berkeley's School of Public Health. Bill has held various roles in organizations focused on chronic disease advocacy, including Chair of the Board of Directors/CEO for the California Hepatitis C Task Force and Ambassador for Americans for Cures. Bill's contributions extend to writing and journalism through affiliation with the Association of Health Care Journalists and previous leadership at the FAIR Foundation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Medical Technology from San Francisco State University and a Master's degree in Medical Technology/Pathology from the University of California, San Francisco. Further training as an Infodemic Manager was completed through the World Health Organization.
