Brian Haggerty

Brian Haggerty serves as the Compensation & Benefits Officer at Metro Waste Recovery since March 2017, where responsibilities include strategic organizational restructures and annual pay studies. In addition to this role, Brian is an Adjunct Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Denver, teaching Compensation and HR Management to graduate students. Brian also holds a position on the Executive Council of IPMA-HR Western Region. Previous experience includes serving as a Total Reward Administrator at Denver Water, where key accomplishments involved leading pay studies, developing pay-for-performance plans, and enhancing HR functions. Brian's earlier roles include Human Resources at U.S. Nursing and Benefits Administrator at Wild Oats Markets. Brian holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University and a Bachelor’s degree in Religion from MacMurray College.
