Chara Bui

Chara Bui is a User Experience Designer at the University of California, Berkeley since November 2015, where responsibilities include conducting departmental user experience research and overseeing the UC Berkeley Mobile App, which serves approximately 11,000 unique users daily. Previous roles feature leadership in the redesign of a pandemic response mobile app and extensive experience in user interviews, usability testing, and interface design for various student portal features. Chara's background includes UX Design training at General Assembly and internships in graphic design, web design, and environmental initiatives, alongside a BS in Environmental Studies from San José State University.
