Chenming Hu has extensive experience in academia and industry, currently serving as Board Director at ACM Research, Inc. since January 2017 and as TSMC Distinguished Professor Emeritus at UC Berkeley since July 1976. Additionally, Chenming Hu holds Board Director positions at Ambarella Inc. since November 2011 and previously at Inphi Corporation from June 2012 to 2021 and SanDisk from September 2009 to May 2016. Notably, Chenming Hu also worked as CTO at TSMC from May 2001 to August 2004 and founded Celestry Design Technologies, serving as Chairman from July 1996 to January 2002. Chenming Hu earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University and an MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
