Chris Dodla is an undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research group, Chris is focused on developing an exploitative poker solver using large language models under the guidance of Akshat Gupta. Additionally, experience includes working as a teaching assistant for the CS 61A course, where responsibilities involved running labs, discussions, and assisting with grading and problem-writing. As a research assistant at SELAB, Chris developed a segmentation and object detection model for macular degeneration patients, and at the Redwood Center, built Actor-Critic Models with Spiking Neural Networks for Atari games. Previous roles include co-founding Code4Innovation, which provides affordable computer science education, and interning at Innocuous AI in software, business analysis, and sales.
