Dan Mulhern

Dan Mulhern is a Distinguished Lecturer at UC Berkeley, where courses on leadership are taught within the Haas School of Business, the Goldman School of Public Policy, and Berkeley Law. As a Co-Founder and Distinguished Practitioner of Law & Business at LeadingX2 since 2013, Dan focuses on fostering effective workplace partnerships. A Leadership Coach for the Executive Office of the President in 2024, Dan helped establish the inaugural coaching program in that office. Prior professional experiences include serving as President of Daniel Mulhern Inc, holding the role of First Gentleman of Michigan during Jennifer Granholm's governorship, and various leadership positions, including founding partner at Mulhern Hastings Group and a talk show host for Everyday Leadership. Dan holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA from Yale University.
