Daniel Aranki, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of California, Berkeley, where core research interests include machine learning, privacy, information disclosure, health tele-monitoring, and cybersecurity. As a faculty member in the School of Information (ISchool), Daniel develops curricula for privacy engineering. In addition, Daniel serves as the Executive Director of The Berkeley Telemonitoring Project and has experience teaching as a lecturer in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences. Daniel completed a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences with a focus on Artificial Intelligence at UC Berkeley and holds a B.Sc. summa cum laude in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Previous professional experience includes work as an RFIC Designer at Intel.
