Dave Weiner

Dave Weiner is currently the Program Director for NSF I-Corps at the University of California, Berkeley, where they train faculty, researchers, and students to turn academic research into startups. They serve as an advisor and pre-proposal judge for the Big Ideas Competition at UC Berkeley, guiding social impact startups. Previously, they co-founded Mujus, an e-commerce platform that supported local artisans in Ecuador and Peru, and held positions at Springboard and the National Science Foundation as an Industry Mentor. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Ph.D. in Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania, Dave continues to engage in impactful educational initiatives.
