David Browne

David Browne is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in leadership roles at the University of California, Berkeley and AT&T. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Campus IT Infrastructure at UC Berkeley since April 2015, David oversees a centralized IT unit that provides a wide range of services including data center operations, networking, enterprise storage, and systems resiliency planning. Previously, David held multiple director-level positions at UC Berkeley, focusing on IT infrastructure and telecommunications. At AT&T, David managed large teams and was instrumental in developing and supporting one of the largest Enterprise Data Warehouses in the United States, achieving significant cost reductions and improvements in efficiency. David holds a Master's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Pacific Union College.
