David Ortega

David Ortega is the Director of Parent Services at UC Berkeley, a position held since 2013. Previously, Ortega served as the Director of Alumni Relations and Operations, where they chaired the Re-opening Committee for California Memorial Stadium and engaged alumni with the athletic department. They have extensive experience in the athletic sector, having held multiple roles at UC Berkeley, including Recruiting Coordinator and Director of Student Development for Football. David holds a BA in History from UC Berkeley and completed a Leadership Development Institute certificate from the NCAA.
