David Turner

David Turner is an experienced IT professional with over two decades in higher education technology management. Currently serving as the Executive Director for Campus Applications & Data at the University of California, Berkeley, David supports a diverse range of administrative applications. Previously, David held various leadership roles at the University of California, Santa Cruz, including Director of Software Engineering and Assistant Director of IT Strategy & Planning, where accomplishments included the creation of a popular project management training program and comprehensive overhauls of web services. David's expertise encompasses project management, software development, and strategic IT planning, with a background that includes organizational consulting at UC Merced and early management experience in production operations at Madd T'z Sportswear. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History from Santa Clara University and an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Cabrillo College.
