David Yates

David Yates is an experienced mechanical engineer with a career spanning over a decade in various engineering roles. At Cammisa + Wipf Consulting Engineers from August 2011 to March 2018, David served as an Associate Mechanical Engineer, leading mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection designs while coordinating with architects and clients. Since March 2018, David has been with the University of California, Berkeley as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on project engineering for campus-wide steam and natural gas distribution systems, and acting as a liaison among chief architects and engineering teams. Prior experience includes a position as Associate Mechanical Engineer at PM Group from 2011 to 2013. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University, earned from 1989 to 1994.
