Edward Lee

Edward Lee is a prominent academic and industry expert in embedded processing technology, currently serving as the Robert S. Pepper Distinguished Professor at the UC Berkeley College of Engineering since September 2006, alongside a professorship in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley since July 1986. Lee co-founded BDTI, where responsibilities include serving as a scientific advisor and board member since June 1992. Lee's career began at Bell Labs, contributing to the development of voiceband data modems from June 1979 to August 1982. Lee holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a master's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree from Yale University.
