Ehsan Z.

Ehsan Z. is the Chief Difference Engineer at Arizona State University, where they also serve as the Founding Executive Director of The Difference Engine, a center focused on the future of equality. They are currently a Visiting Fellow on (In)Equality at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and a Distinguished Senior Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley. Ehsan Z. has been a Senior Advisor for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since 2011 and contributes as an Opinion Contributor for CNN. They hold positions as a Professor of Practice at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and as a Professor at the Arizona State University School of Social Transformation.
