Emily Lam is a dedicated academic and researcher with extensive experience in marine sciences and integrative biology. Currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, Emily has been recognized with the UC Berkeley Outstanding Student Instructor Award in 2023. Research focuses on the physiological resilience of marine mammals in contemporary environments influenced by climate change. Prior experience includes educational roles at the Marine Science Institute and San Francisco State University, and research positions at the Romberg Tiburon Center for Environmental Studies, among others. Emily holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Marine Sciences from San Francisco State University and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Integrative Biology at UC Berkeley.
