Eric Katerman

Eric Katerman is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in data science, mathematics, and coaching. Currently serving as an R+D Mathematician at Artizen Fund since February 2022, Eric focuses on designing a funding mechanism for Artizen Grants while engaging in public goods funding and web3 communities. As a Data Scientist at Squash Stats, Eric contributes to the advancement of squash through data analysis, leveraging a passion for the sport and visualizations. Additionally, Eric holds the position of Head Men's Squash Coach at the University of California, Berkeley, leading the team to achieve the status of the #1 men's club team in US college squash. With a history of impactful roles including Engineering Manager at CSC and Technical co-founder at Hurricane Party, Inc., Eric possesses a strong foundation in big data and software engineering. Academic accomplishments include a PhD in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Mathematics and Philosophy from Williams College. Eric also dedicates time to volunteer coaching and tutoring for SquashDrive, an urban youth development program.
