Erica Bailey

Erica Bailey is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, following a tenure as a Doctoral Student at Columbia University from August 2017 to May 2023. Prior to academia, Erica held the position of Senior Business Transformation Consultant at IBM, where responsibilities included managing client relationships, project timelines, and developing innovative solutions to meet customer needs, culminating in the receipt of the 2015 Managers Choice Award. Erica's experience also includes a Legislative Aide Intern role with the Ohio House of Representatives, where involvement in drafting the Ohio Equal Pay Act demonstrated a commitment to public service and policy advocacy. Earlier roles include positions at the NSW Department of Trade and Investment and as a Research Assistant at The Ohio State University, contributing to various research initiatives. Erica holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Behavior Studies from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Economics from The Ohio State University.
