Frances Dean

Frances Dean is an accomplished researcher and academic, currently serving as an NSF Research Fellow and Graduate Student Full Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, since August 2021. In addition to these roles, Frances is a Graduate Student Assistant Instructor at the same institution. Frances has also contributed to the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation as a Researcher and Post-Bachelor Fellow since September 2019. Beginning in April 2023, Frances will take on the role of Biostatistician at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Frances holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Williams College, a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of California, San Francisco.
