Gary Tran

Gary Tran is an experienced professional in art and design, currently managing the Art & Design Department at the University of California, Berkeley since August 2020, overseeing multiple programs, curricula planning, remote learning initiatives, and social media content creation. Previously, Gary worked at COSMO as a Social Content and Graphic Communication specialist, where responsibilities included content creation, graphic design, and media outreach. Additionally, Gary served as a Branding/Service Designer for Brooks Brothers, enhancing consumer experiences across the Northern California and Pacific Northwest regions. Prior freelance work involved graphic design services and branding for various clients, while earlier experience at Wear Else included developing a marketing strategy to rebrand the company. Gary holds a Bachelor's degree in Design and Applied Arts from OCAD University and an Associate of Arts in Design and Visual Communications from George Brown College.
