Gaston Sanchez

Gaston Sanchez has extensive experience in statistics and data science education, currently serving as a Statistics Instructor at a University and as a Lecturer at both UC Berkeley and Berkeley City College since January 2015. Sanchez contributed as a Special Consultant at San Francisco State University, authoring learning materials for the Graduate Opportunities to Learn Data Science (GOLD) program. Earlier roles include a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science and postdoctoral positions at Oniris Nantes and UC Berkeley, where research focused on statistical methods for genetic association studies and multiblock data analysis. Educational qualifications include a PhD and a Master's in Statistics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
