George Obaido

George Obaido, Ph.D., currently serves as the Research Program Manager, Exceptional Principal Investigator, and former Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley since July 2022. Prior to this role, George was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UC San Diego and a Visiting Lecturer at Strathmore University, where responsibilities included lecturing on Data Mining and Data Storage concepts to master's students. Experience also includes positions as Module Lead and Lecturer at Pearson South Africa, where George developed assessment materials and delivered lectures across multiple campuses. Additionally, George held various project management roles at Intercomm Links and Litediv Solutions, and served as an Information Technology Operations Manager at Imperio Cosmetics Nigeria. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Abuja.
