Igor Grigoriev

Igor Grigoriev is a Senior Scientist and Program Head for Fungal and Algal Genomics at the Joint Genome Institute of Berkeley Lab, a position held since September 2003. Additionally, Igor serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, since January 2013. Prior to these roles, Igor worked as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Pfizer (Sugen/Pharmacia) from March 2001 to September 2003 and completed postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1998 to 2001. Igor holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the Research Institute of Genetics of Industrial Microorganisms (1994-1997) and a B.S./M.S. in Biophysics from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (1988-1994).
