Iris D. Tommelein

Iris D. Tommelein is the Director of the Project Production Systems Laboratory (P2SL) at UC Berkeley since July 1995 and also serves as a Professor within the Civil and Environmental Engineering department at the same institution. Prior to this role, Iris D. Tommelein was an Assistant Professor and later an Associate Professor with Tenure at the University of Michigan from August 1989 to June 1995. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Civil Engineering, an MS in Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction Engineering and Management, and an MS in Computer Science specializing in Artificial Intelligence, all obtained from Stanford University, as well as a Burgerlijk Ingenieur Architect (5-year Engineer's Degree) in Civil Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
