James K.

James Kraska serves as the Charles H. Stockton Chair of International Maritime Law and Department Head at the Stockton Center for International Law, U.S. Naval War College, and is a Visiting Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. They have extensive experience in international law, having held various positions including Director of the Treaty Negotiations Division for the Joint Chiefs of Staff and International Law Attorney for the U.S. Navy JAG Corps. They previously served as a Visiting Professor at the University of the Philippines and the Gujarat National Law University, among others. Kraska is also a Senior Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute and a Distinguished Fellow at UC Berkeley's Law of the Sea Institute. They are currently pursuing multiple advanced degrees in law and international studies.
