Janelle Cavanagh currently serves as the Chief Philanthropy Officer at Marin Community Foundation, overseeing strategy and fund development for a $3 billion community foundation. Janelle co-founded the Certificate of Fundraising and Volunteer Management at the University of California, Berkeley, aimed at enhancing educational experiences for nonprofit fundraising staff. Previously, Janelle held leadership roles at Global Fund for Women, where responsibilities included serving as Interim Co-CEO and Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, driving significant fundraising efforts.
