Janet King is a distinguished research professor with extensive expertise in human zinc metabolism and nutritional needs during pregnancy. Currently a Research Professor at the University of California, Davis since July 1997 and a Professor at the University of California, Berkeley since September 1995, Janet King has developed international programs aimed at improving zinc nutrition. In addition to academic roles, Janet King serves as the Senior Vice President for Research and Executive Director at the Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute, overseeing significant metabolic research initiatives.
