Jann Ronis

Jann Ronis currently serves as the Executive Director of the Buddhist Digital Resource Center, a position held since July 2018, where responsibilities include managing large grant-funded projects, fundraising, and integrating new technologies to enhance user engagement with an extensive database of Buddhist literature. Jann has been a lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley since July 2011, demonstrating excellence in teaching across over 25 courses and developing new curricula focused on Buddhism and related studies. Past roles include a Shinjo-Ito Postdoctoral Fellow in Buddhist Studies at the University of Virginia and various positions in digital content creation and research within the Tibetan and Himalayan Library and the CNRS. Jann holds a Ph.D. in Religion/Religious Studies from the University of Virginia.
