Jaquesta Adams

Jaquesta Adams is a dedicated researcher with a strong background in chemistry and nanotechnology. Currently serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, since May 2021, Jaquesta focuses on the development of aptamer-functionalized single-walled carbon nanotube sensors for neurochemical imaging. Previously, at Howard University, Jaquesta contributed to computational design and analysis of nanomaterials and engaged in research on the synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles. Additionally, an undergraduate research position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology involved investigating nucleic acid nanotechnology for targeted drug delivery. Jaquesta holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, expected in 2026, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Howard University, completed in 2020.
