Jason Ryder

Jason Ryder is a seasoned professional in the field of chemical engineering with extensive experience as both a leader and educator. As the Founder and CTO of Oobli since February 2018, Jason also serves as an Adjunct Professor and Executive Director of the Master of Bioprocess Engineering Program at the University of California, Berkeley. Previous roles include advisory positions at Brightseed and leadership roles at Eat Just, Inc., Bolt Threads, and Amyris, where responsibilities ranged from process research and development to manufacturing and process engineering. Jason holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Alabama.
