Jerome Engel

Jerome Engel serves as Faculty Director for The Executive Program in Innovation and the UC Berkeley Venture Capital Executive Program at the UC Berkeley Center for Executive Education. Engel is a General Partner at Monitor Venture Partners and holds a position on the Board of Directors for MedAmerica, where Jerome chairs the Audit Committee. At the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Engel is a Senior Fellow and Founding Executive Director Emeritus, also serving as an Adjunct Professor at the Haas School of Business since 1991. Engel is a Senior Adviser to the CEO at Niantic, Inc., and previously served as National Faculty Director for the NSF I-Corps program. Engel's extensive experience includes various board positions, such as with VentureWell, Jupiter Systems, and Adaptive Insights. Engel earned a Master's degree from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State University.
