Jon Stiles is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data services and research analysis. Currently serving as the Director of Data Services at the Social Sciences Data Laboratory (D-Lab) since May 2016, Jon also holds the position of Executive Director at the California Census Research Data Center since September 2008. Additionally, Jon has been involved with UC DATA since 1995, where roles have included Data Archivist & Research Analyst as well as Interim Executive Director. Jon began a career in research analysis at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center from June 1985 to December 1990. Academically, Jon holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Demography & Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics & Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
