Jonas Knecht is a co-founder at Stealth, where efforts are focused on developing novel AI technologies capable of passing the clinical Turing test. Currently serving as a Research Affiliate at both the University of California, San Francisco, and the University of California, Berkeley, Jonas investigates decision-making processes through causal inference and develops algorithms based on behavioral economics within the realm of AI-Health. Previously, Jonas was a Research Fellow at the University of Chicago, concentrating on interpretable generative AI and human behavioral biases. Earlier roles included a Research Assistant position at the University of Cambridge's Econometrics Group, contributing to Dynamic Conditional Score Models and representing the department at the 2020 Amsterdam Econometrics Conference. Jonas is pursuing a Ph.D. in Computational Precision Health at UCSF and holds advanced degrees in Econometrics and Economic Research from the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Cambridge, along with a BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick.
