Jonathan Marshall

Jonathan Marshall currently serves as the Director of the Legal Studies Program at UC Berkeley, a position held since July 2015. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Carthage College from August 2005 to June 2015, and Lecturer at the University of California in early 2005. Jonathan also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Program on U.S.-Japan Relations from September 2003 to June 2004. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Political Science earned from the University of California, Berkeley between 1992 and 2003, and a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Yale University, obtained in 1988, alongside studies at The University of Tokyo from 1997 to 1999.
