Joshua Bloom

Joshua Bloom is a distinguished academic and industry leader in the fields of astronomy and data analytics, currently serving as a Professor and Department Chair at the University of California, Berkeley, where Joshua has been since February 2005. Additionally, Joshua holds the title of Associate Professor and serves as a Physics Faculty Scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Joshua is also engaged in advisory roles at Mattiq and Stemit, contributing to sustainable materials innovation and the music industry, respectively. Notable previous positions include Vice President of Data & Analytics at GE Digital and Chief Technology Officer at Wise.io, where Joshua co-founded the company.
