Kat Brown

Kat Brown has extensive experience in athletic compliance, currently serving as the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance at the University of California, Berkeley since August 2017, after holding various compliance-related positions at the same institution. Prior to this, Kat held the role of Assistant Director of Compliance at Liberty University for a brief period in 2017 and completed an internship in athletic compliance at the University of San Diego. Additional legal experience includes positions as a legal intern with the U.S. Department of State, a certified legal intern at the San Diego County District Attorney's Office, and a law clerk in the U.S. Attorney's Office, Civil Division. Kat Brown holds a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
