Kevin Haninger

Graduate Student Researcher

Kevin Haninger is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Fraunhofer IPK since July 2017, focusing on proof-of-concept work for interactive robot and cobot systems, along with developing analytical tools for autonomous manufacturing tasks. Concurrently, Kevin serves as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley's Mechatronic Systems Controls Lab, concentrating on safety and performance in flexible joint robot control. Previous experience includes roles as a Roboticist at Kastanienbaum GmbH, a Visiting Researcher at the Space Robotics Lab, and internships at the Space Sciences Lab and Marvell Nanolab. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, earned in 2012.
