Kevin Kou currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University of California, Riverside, a position held since 2018. Kevin also works as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Berkeley since January 2015, focusing on natural product synthesis and mentoring both undergraduate and graduate students. Previously, Kevin was a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Irvine, from August 2012 to December 2014, where research involved transition metal-catalysis, organic synthesis, and the development of new chemical transformations and chiral phosphine ligands. Kevin earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Toronto in 2014 and a B.Sc. with Honours from the University of Victoria in 2009.
