Lee van Pelt

Lee Van Pelt is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in patent law and academia. Since 2006, Lee has served as a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, where a patent class is taught at the law school. In addition, Lee has been a Partner at Van Pelt, Yi and James since 1999, specializing in patent law practice. Prior legal experience includes positions as an Attorney at Hickman Beyer and Weaver from 1996 to 1999 and at Heller Ehrman from 1992 to 1996. Earlier in Lee's career, work as an Optical Engineer occurred at Dynetics, Inc. from 1986 to 1988. Lee holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
