Luis Yataco

Luis Yataco has extensive experience in academic advising and program coordination, primarily within the University of California, Berkeley. Since 2016, Luis has held various positions within the Community College Transfer Services, culminating in the role of Data and Systems Manager. Previous roles include Transfer Specialist and College Advisor. Notably, Luis was also a Program Coordinator for the Starting Point Mentorship Program at the Centers for Educational Equity and Excellence in 2019 and served as a Classroom Proctor at the Coleman Fung Institute for Engineering Leadership. Further experience includes an Academic Intern position in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences and a Student Ambassador role at Diablo Valley College. Luis holds a B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed general education coursework at Diablo Valley College.
