Projects And Events Manager

Lulu M. is an experienced Projects and Events Manager at the University of California, Berkeley since March 2015, and has also held the role of Program Assistant at the American Cultures Center. As a Multimedia Contractor for The Macintosh Hustle, Lulu manages and produces independent media projects. Previously, as a Digital Media Producer for PowerPAC+, Lulu launched the "Democracy in Color Podcast," producing extensive video content on critical issues in race and politics. Additional experience includes roles at the Children's Defense Fund, Stiles Hall, and Digital Action Tech Hub, where Lulu helped underrepresented communities navigate the UC application process and co-founded a program to enhance access to technology. A background in community engagement is highlighted by previous positions with Students Making a Change, Puerto Rican Arts Alliance, and Chicago Park District. Lulu holds a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and has earned an Associate in Arts and Associate in Sciences from City College of San Francisco.
