Mark Butler

Mark Butler is an experienced technology professional currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer and Founder of ONTOAi, where the focus is on developing an ontological and Generative AI toolset aimed at enhancing risk, compliance, and cybersecurity threat intelligence. As VP Engineering and Founder of Voise Inc., Mark has been instrumental in building a platform leveraging natural language processing technologies. Additionally, Mark holds a position as a Continuing Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, teaching courses in natural language processing and generative AI. Mark's previous experience includes founding Linguastat, Inc. and working as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Interwoven Inc., where contributions were made to the development of metadata generation technologies. Mark's academic background includes a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
